Natural sheepskin is made to be used. With a little care, it will stay soft, comfortable and looking its best for longer.
All Ström sheepskin pieces are removable, making it easy to wash the sheepskin separately without repeatedly washing the entire product.
Reshape the sheepskin while damp and allow it to air dry naturally, away from direct sunlight and heat.
Do not tumble dry, place on a radiator or use direct heat to speed up drying.
As the sheepskin dries, gently stretch and reshape the leather backing occasionally to help maintain its softness and shape. Once dry, gently fluff or brush the wool fibres if needed.
Sheepskin doesn’t need to be washed after every use. Allow it to air dry.
For light dirt, allow mud or debris to dry before gently brushing it away. Washing only when needed will help preserve the natural sheepskin and extend its life.

Keep your Velcro backing strips. They’re designed to be reused each time you wash your sheepskin, keeping the hook side of the Velcro covered so it can’t catch on the wool.
